Location: Cleveland Botanical Garden
Position Type: Full-Time
- Oversee day-to-day café operations, ensuring efficient service and an exceptional guest experience.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to maintain high-quality grab-and-go offerings.
- Recruit, train, and manage café staff, ensuring adherence to Spice Catering’s brand standards.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet revenue goals.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Address customer feedback promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Manage weekly alcohol + beverage inventory for café + special events
Beverage Program Oversight
- Support the Beverage Manager in executing the café’s alcohol service program in alignment with Spice brand standards.
- Ensure all alcoholic offerings are properly stocked, rotated, and served in compliance with state and venue regulations.
- Manage day-to-day beverage inventory for the café, including ordering, receiving, storage, and monthly counts.
- Train café staff on responsible alcohol service, proper presentation, and guest engagement.
- Coordinate with the Beverage Manager and Events team to ensure seamless beverage execution for café and private events.
Team Development
- Implement a leadership model to engage, develop, and motivate staff, ensuring they reach their fullest potential.
- Provide ongoing training and career development opportunities to encourage long-term employee retention.
- Recognize and reward high-performing team members, creating a positive and goal-oriented work culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and café operations.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for events.
